Varsity Teams:

• Games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays

  WESTERN BRANCH BASEBALL INFORMATION

The Varsity Baseball team beat Nansemond River 8-7 in the first round of the Southeastern District Tournament on Friday night. Zach Rutherford improved his record to 6-2. Nate Collins had a lead off triple in the bottom of the 6th then scored on a passed ball, which proved to be the winning run. The Bruins offense was lead by Kyle Butler and Nate Collins who had four of the Bruins ten hits. The Bruins face Great Bridge in the second round of the Southeastern District Tournament on Tuesday at Nansemond River. Game time is 5:30 pm.
